Guest Services Associate

Candidate must have exceptional people skills and customer service abilities.  Flexibility and a friendly attitude are key. 

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

  • Make and confirm reservations both in person and on the phone
  • Greet, register, take payment, and check out guests
  • Attend to guest requests in a timely manner
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to resort services and area activities and information
  • Answer telephone and direct calls to appropriate department and assist callers
  • Transmit, receive, and deliver messages
  • Treat guests in a professional manner both in person and on the phone
  • Ring up sale of items from Fannie’s Gift & Coffee Shop
  • Operate & Maintain Fannie’s Coffee Shop as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Report any guest concerns to the Lodging Manager
  • Maintains daily logs, records, and forms
  • Maintain clean and appropriately stocked office, desk, and gift & coffee shop
  • Consistently follow company policies & procedures
  • Utilize email system of effective communication
  • Manage time effectively and efficiently on a consistent basis


  • Outgoing, friendly personality with a professional appearance
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and ability to successfully resolve issues
  • Excellent organizational skills, follow-up and follow through
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Self-motivated; can work independently
  • Minimum of intermediate typing, computer, and internet skills
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and ability to lift up to 35 pounds and carry for short distances
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • The ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly
  • The ability to see details, writing, text on computer screen at close range
  • The ability to remember information such as words, numbers, and procedures
  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts including early morning and late night

Job Type:  Full-Time

Pay:  $12 / hour

Experience:  Customer service related experience preferred but not required

Education: High School Diploma, GED, or current high school student
